A lot of people have been asking how to help after the devastating tornado that went through our community early Tuesday, March 3rd. We have compiled a list of ways that you can help out.
We are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse for tornado cleanup efforts. Volunteers are needed all week, Monday (3/9) – Saturday (3/14). There are 2 different locations you can serve from (see below). You may serve at 7:30am or 12:30pm. You will need to be on time for orientation at those times if you want to serve. Please bring a sack lunch and water.
Grace Place (4316 Central Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076) – 7:30am or 12:30pm for orientation. Volunteers will work Mondays – Saturdays. Please bring bagged lunch and water with you. If you have questions about serving as a day volunteer please contact the site directly (615) 753-9801.
Donelson Fellowship – (3210 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214) – 7:30am or 12:30pm for orientation. Volunteers will work Mondays – Saturdays. Please bring bagged lunch and water with you. If you have questions about serving as a day volunteer please contact the site directly (615) 939-6429.
We are no longer accepting supplies at this time, but gift cards and financial gifts are still appreciated. We will distribute the gift cards and use the money towards any needs that arise.
